Just got a 2020 Tundra 1794 with the off road package after exclusively owning chevy/GMC trucks for about 20 years. What jumps out to me the most is how much smoother it rides on rough roads, especially what we call hear "washboard" roads with deep ripples. The difference is incredible and I never heard that mentioned when reading reviews of the tundra compared to other trucks. Is it mainly due to the Bilstein shocks or are there other reasons, e.g. different style chassis than ford and chevy?

Welcome from CO! I’m not sure. I haven’t owned an American truck in the last 25 years.

My last GM was an 03, so that means torsion bars.

the toyota A-arms just feel way more solid and controlled than gm front suspension imo
