    CA doesn’t have spousal support after so many years. That’s BS my brother in law just currently went thru this. I personally asked his lawyers as his ex wanted child support plus spousal support. They laughed in her face as CA doesn’t have no spousal support if they aren’t married.

    What are you talking about? CA requires you to pay alimony and if it's over 10 years the rules change to not just half the marriage. Yes there are other circumstances and I'm not a divorce attorney was just pointing out the differences between states and how CA sucks regarding divorce settlements
