I have a 2017 DC Limited 4wd with the 5.7l. So far, I'm happy, but have noticed a little bit of sway that I didn’t have with my Titan. I haven’t towed my camper yet, which I’d about 6400 lbs with 750lbs of tongue weight. I do have a weight distribution hitch.

Will the sway be apparent as is, or should I get the TRD sway bar? If so, just rear or am I going to need to buy the front too? Are there other options? Am I just being over concerned and it’ll tow just fine? Lol

    thanks!

I tow my Camaro and don't have any sway. I have the TRD Sport so it came with front and rear sway bars. I do use a WDH. I think the sway bars would help.

How is the tire pressure? On my 2012 having 30/33 psi always felt spongy. When I put in 38/40 psi in the tires, it felt a lot better.

Which WD bars do you have?

I dialed in my Equal-i-zer WD hitch and tow a 25' Airstream; ~7000lbs. No sway!

Equal-i-zer has a LOT more adjustments than other of same class like Blue Ox, which I'd avoid like the plague!

I was getting a little sway until I took the time to make it perfect. My Tundra rides exactly as level with or without Airstream.

I do have rear sway bar as well.

    Mine rides like on rails!

I'd like to add the rear sway bar to mine. I think it will steady it out in normal driving, let alone when towing.

I have the Anderson WDH/sway control. It performed perfectly on my Titan, so I’m sure it will do the job on the Tundra as well. What I notice is that the Tundra has some sway in turns... just feels soft is all. Might not translate to a soft tow though. Will be hooking it up for a short trip in a couple weeks.
