    Hello,

Just registered in the last few days and have been lurking this and other sites trying to find general information and answers. I have come across the age old threads regarding what tires/rims can be run without shaving or lifting etc. Found a reference that gives some numbers, but it did not list the tire size I am researching. Furthermore, the wheel specs is still a little confusing and I'm working on educating myself (offset stuff).

Never having modified anything in my life, I'm extremely nervous about selecting the combination since its not like you can simply return the stuff should you be unhappy with the look. I currently have a 14 Taco Baja which I love the look which made it easy since it was all factory. Getting the Tundra I cannot stand the look on the Platinum and need to do something which is what brought me here. I'm also starting to read a lot about level kits versus suspension etc which just makes this process more difficult as I might not even go that route if I can find a look that I like.

    Here is my first question:
    I'm looking at 305 55 20 (Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac Radial - LT305/55R20 121Q) with
    BLACK RHINO MINT 20x9.0 5/139.7 ET00 CB78.1 MATTE BLACK

#1 How could I find out if these would work, if so what would I need, and lastly if they would work is shaving required?
#2 If the 305 55 20's required lift, level, or shaving what tire would work with these rims so no other modifications would need to be performed?

Thanks for any advice or guidance you may have. I can't imagine how upset I'd be if I purchased the wheels/tires and had them put on only to find out I disliked the look and was stuck with all of it.

    What offset on the wheels?

These wheels come in offsets ranging from +12 to -23.

I run 33s on a 3/1 CO level and had to remove the front fender liner, the mud flaps, and warp the plastic at the rear of the wheel well to stop rubbing while reversing with the wheel to the extreme left or right. My wheels are an 18x9 with a 25mm offset.

I think you will experience the same and will most likely need a level. You shouldn't have to actually trim anything though.

Welcome bud. Offset is ET so that's a 0 offset. That is way out there which will cause more rubbing. Unless you're set on a very aggressive stance, I would aim for a higher offset. +25 to +35 is optimal for less trimming.

And it looks like that bolt pattern is wrong. Should be 5x150. I think that's the 1st gen bolt pattern but 1st gen is 6 lugs I believe

No pics yet as its still on the boat. That said, its starting to sound like if Ihave to have the 305 55 20's then I'll have to get a level or lift kit IF I want to avoid the shaving/rubbing etc. Does that sound about right?

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like you still have time to do your research before your truck arrives.
