Hi I'm Micha from Belgium. I recentley sold my 2e gen tundra double cab Sr5 from 2007 and bought a 3e gen bronze mica 1794 crewcab from 2015.
I allways loved this car and it is a realy rare car here in Belgium, this means it is realy hard to buy parts over in europe and the shippingcost & importtaxes from the USA are going trough the roof.
But this wil not stop me to customize my new ride.
My first planned upgrade is replacing the stock radio and I'm lost with all the radios you can buy, I'v also read all topics about the Tesla style radios but I need a good advice about it, go by it or buy a standard 2din radio.
If I buy a tesla style, what type is the best stable platform (UI) , wich version, memory,....

    Kind regards Micha

Welcome from the smoky northwest. I replaced my stock radio with a Kenwood Excelon. It s quality sounds compared to stock. I m not sure about the Tesla, but I m betting it costs twice as much.

For radios / H.U. I would recommend something more familiar. Many have had great luck with Alpine, Kenwood, & Pioneer. They are all going to sound much better than the OEM.

    Too many to list
You can see the thread on Dasaita headunit. Pretty good and works flawlessly. You can buy it through Amazon that itself guarantees the product quality and support.I had Phenoix android (Gen1 & 2) with nothing but issues.
BTW, how do you like Gas Guzzler Tundra with European fuel prices. I am thinking of shipping out my truck to Europe for a roadtrip there.
