hey man. yeah. this is the product. it mounts to the hitch but has it's own hitch extension that supports up to 10k lbs like oem so you can still tow (and carry bikes too). really multi-functional. trail tested yesterday and the mount is solid. no wobble or sway. very happy with it.

Got a jump start on winter prep. Fluid filmed a few bad spots (bed rot) and checked/lubed the brakes. Also wire wheeled and used up some rattle cans on the calipers while servicing the brakes.

Edit: also got my Jerry Can mounted up, ready for the next trip so I won’t have to worry about gas when cruising with all the 3rd gens and their amazing 38 gallon tank.

custom spare tire cover paying homage to toyota racing roots, who partnered with yamaha motor, which eventually influenced toyota racing development. i'm a huge yamaha and toyota fan (prob obvious from my signature).

I have embraced chrome trim again, and I've dropped plans to further white out my RCSB.

The original chrome front bumper and grill will remain in place, and I have chrome door handles on the way to to replace the white ones I installed about a year ago... these new handles will match the chrome mirrors I installed earlier this year.

Has anyone had luck smoothing out a dented chrome bumper? Please offer tips and suggestions.

I did plugs on the goat today. Same set for about the last 200k (km). A few of them have burnt tips. It seems to idle much nicer as well. Cleaned all the coils up and dielectric greased them up. Installed the plugs with anti-seize, unlike the last time they were replaced. PSA, please put anti-seize on plugs y’all!

Had plans of changing oil today, but decided to order an engine oil pan gasket and wait for it to show up first. It’s barely had a weep since I’ve owned it, but it’s time to stop it. Ordered a fumoto valve too.

Got the rear fender liners installed. Used new Amazon clips, which was so satisfying:) I had them out because I was planning on painting the truck this summer. House stuff took priority so next summer it is. Winter prepping :annoyed: Y’all can see why I choose to add a heat shield to the exhaust tip here too :hattip:
    Front ones today hopefully.

    Thank you!

It’s an SS Built Bumper that I bought used from another member, but then had it customized by chopping the skid and boxing out the tubes frame. Originally the SS Built bumper requires the radiator cross member to be removed, and I didn’t want to go through that hassle.
