My work is going to detail my Tundra. Why you ask, A subcontractor got over spray on alot of personal cars and turcks, including a 2020 BMW 740i. So they are having a Pro Detailer clean off the over spray. So far he has done a great job. The black cars look great. He is wet-sanding, clay-baring, buffing, polishing, waxing, his work looks great. Company is paying him, "I heard $400+ per. a car."

My question is should I ask/pay for additional service, ie...Ceramic Coating/UV Coating "I live in Florida" or anything you guys and girls can think of?

    Thank you. T14P

That would be the time to have it ceramic coated. Maybe he will even give you a better price since he is doing all the work cars.

This has to be a "Florida" thing. My buddy's next door neighbor had his house painted in Fort Lauderdale. They tarped part of my friend's house when spraying. Meanwhile the idiots doing the painting should have checked which way the wind was blowing AND tarped his 60' Sunseeker docked out back. :(

Damn, would be nice if this happened to me the week after deer season ends...my truck is usually a freaking mess by that time

Update... The work has not been completed yet. Everything is documented. The guy that was to detail my truck bailed, so I found someone I trust to do the work. He's going to do a paint correction and I'm going to apply a ceramic coating. I'm looking for a complete ceramic 9h pro. kit as this will prob. be the only one that I will be applying. Going to try and wait till after hurricane season. The kit's I have found are...

BLACKFIRE BLACK EDITION Ceramic Coating and Care Kit "autogeek"

Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Ceramic Coating Pro and Maintain Kit "autogeek"

Wolfgang PROFI Ceramic Coat It & Keep It Kit "autogeek"

Adam's UV Paint Ceramic Coating Complete Kit - 9H Ceramic Coating Kit W/UV Flashlight | 5+ Years of Protection | Apply After Car Wash Clay Bar Car Polisher | Car Detailing Kit "wAmazon"

Are there any others that you guy's & girl's suggest?

    I'm looking for 9h kit's 4+yrs protection. Quality #1

    Thank you,
    Gregg
