    Hi All,

Relatively new Tundra owner here. I picked up this 2009 Tundra in the color I wanted with only 29,000 retiree miles back in October. I haven't done much other than rip off the pinstripes, detail and add a Truxedo Lo Pro tonneau cover that I am really enjoying.

It's also one of the rare V6 engine models but I have got to say I have no complaints in the horsepower department for my Home Depot runs (I don't haul anything) and it's got that indestructible 1GR-FE 4.0 V6 engine. Really enjoying it so far.

This forum has helped me with everything from truck buying research to tonneau covers to detailing tips. I figured it was time I stopped lurking and made myself a part of the forum. Thanks for all your help everyone.

I have a unicorn too, I have the 270 HP updated version. It gets around. If you ever have shaking issues contact ipt transmission. Valve bodys go bad are 130K along with torque converter due to engineering issues about 800 dollars fixed the valve body and it will last a long time with the new sleeves. I have 145K on mine just got back to miami from a camping trip in sebring.
