I can't hear complete Whatsapp and other apps through bluetooth

I don't know if anyone else has ran into this issue but I can't hear other apps via the bluetooth on my tundra after of few seconds of pressing play. I use whatsapp, facebook and other apps through Bluetooth and it will play for about 5 seconds and then the sound will quit. The volume keeps going on the app and if I switch over to phone speaker I will hear it.

Has anyone gone through this and if so, how did you fix it?
