anyone know any tricks to de-pin the switch pro harness? The switchpro instructions are pretty vague and show a different connection.

Paper Clíp in the small slots. Push the cable From the back so it’s all the way in the plug, keep the pressure and insert the paper clip in the small slot as much as u can. Then slide the wire out. Once u get the first one the rest become easy as ur more confident

**** step one use a small flat head screw driver to unlock the white plug first just like the instructions say

I got thr white clip up but pushing the wires now I'm stuck. Do I push through the larger portion of the hole or the smaller slot for the terminals?

How u have the plug right now. Grab one wire at a time. Push up(towards u) and then slide the paper clip thru the small slot of that cable ur pushing. U will hear/feel the paper clip slid in to place. Then pull that wire out.

Correct. Make sure the paper clip is big enough and fits snug in there.

Like @fisherman951 said, hit those smaller slots (the ones you marked in red) with a paper clip, push pin, or tiny screwdriver and pull the wires (gently). My paper clips keep bending so I went and got my set of precision screwdrivers and used an Uber tiny Phillips one.
The clips will make a pop/snap sound when they disengage. I had one that was a bear but the other three were super easy.

Lol I destroyed the connector but I got the wires out. I have another connector on order. At least I know what the inside looks like now.

I couldn't get the terminals to release to i snapped the white cap. Not sure why the instructions state you just need to push down. I had to pry open the clips for them to release.
