It is my understanding that preassembled Bilstein 6112 reuse the OEM top mount and isolators and they bolt right on without any "adaptor kits"? Same for the 5160's - no adaptor kits needed?

Someone elsewhere said, "Not according to their site. They claimed direct bolt on but you have to use bumper and shock mount"

Not sure what this means...any clarification appreciated.

They use an oem top mount, but not the one that comes on your truck. The mount simply has the same bolts so it is bolts right up. The 5160s bolt right up too. Nothing fancy needed.

Sorry, this is not my wheelhouse so treat me like a schoolchild here - so when I ordered preassembled 6112's from Boss Offroad it has everything that I need to install them?

    Yep. Remove stock. Install 6112s.
