I booked a time slot for possible tuning with a well known guy around the area. Doesn't do many Tundras - and I guess his software only supports the 5.7. We're going to hook it up and see if anything happens. Transmission seems like its lacking a bit - so maybe shift points or a throttle response adjustment. I usually put it in the S mode and hold 1st and 2nd until I need but otherwise it kind of seems like its only using 3 sluggish gears in auto - especially turning from a stop sign on to a busy street. Taking its sweet time accelerating. Obviously not looking for major improvements but hoping something can be done. Bought the truck new and is stock at about 85,000 Km on second set of tires and exhaust work. Any 4.6 guys have experience with tuning? Not sure what software he uses but seems to be the go-to guy in the area. Pretty much just bought the truck for sweet winter driving. I don't tow or really haul anything. Coming from a winter beater and an '08 Mustang GT.

I dont think there are any tunes for the 4.6, to include DAP. We are pretty much limited to the Hypertech Interceptor and the Pedal Commander. The PC will help your acceleration issue.

D.A.P. Website says 4.6 tune is under development. I sent an email to them to see what exactly that means. ‍♂️
