Mine were delivered on Tuesday, I'm on vacation too. It's been raining heavily here every day this week off and on. I managed to get it installed yesterday between thunderstorms and it was a simple install. I took out my OEM Toyota rubber bed mat, dried the bed and swept out any acorns or leaves that had managed to get in. Armor All'ed the clean bed mat (also top of the bed rail caps) and put it back in before installing the cover. I used a couple of five gallon buckets filled with water to weigh down the corners when I set the tension for the locking system since I installed it alone without help. Took me around an hour, but I wasn't in any real hurry as the "feels like" temperature was around 100 degrees with 99% humidity. Delivered by Estes trucking on a large pallet and the guy had a lift gate and pallet jack and wheeled it right up into my garage. The quality of the packing and the cover itself was great. There was no visible external damage at all to the box or the internal contents. Now I'm waiting on the Crossbin 13 that I ordered last week, supposed to ship early August.

Good luck with your install and post some pics once you get it done! I will post some of mine if it stops raining long enough for me to wash it, I refuse to take pics of it dirty (unless I'm on a trail in the woods somewhere).

Good info thank you. I'm glad to hear you got it installed in between the storms. As for the Crossbin, I like them as well and if one came for sale near me on the forum I'd probably buy it. I don't use my truck for work or camping, it's more for small jobs around the house and helping family as needed. So for now I might get one of those heavy duty rigid tool boxes (on wheels with a handle) and strap it in the back.

I got my cover yesterday (DHE Trucking delivered it) and my OEM tailgate lock came the Thursday so I installed both. Like you said, all in all easy installs. I did most of mine alone, except i had the wife put all of her 100 lbs on the cover so i could adjust the latches..lol. So I did have help..

I'm really happy with the quality and build of the cover.

I hope you get the Crossbin soon and send some pics when the rains stop.

Looks awesome, glad your install went well! Yeah, I don't use my truck for work or anything either, just a toy to help deplete all that extra "expendable income". Right :) Mostly just for camping and hauling my kayaks to the rivers and beaches. I want the crossbin to stow some light rescue gear like a jack, blocks, snatch rope, etc. and still have the option to take it out easily for hauling bigger items. Still raining daily here but I did manage to ride out to the beach and at least get the chance to lock her in 4WD and play a little in some sugar sand. Enjoy your new cover and your Tundra.

My Crossbin 13 was delivered today, nice to have a secure, removable "tool box"/storage area under my Diamondback HD.
