Hey guyS... first time post. Recently purchased a 15 trd pro with the tiny 26.4 gallon fuel tank. Needless to say it’s driving me nuts.. lol. I’ve read through a bunch of the forums and saw the transfer flow which is illegal in California… Which is where I am. I was thinking I could buy the OEM 38 gallon tank but a little intimidated to do the install myself. I was wondering if you guys know anyone in Southern California who would put that tank on for me. Or with me... Also if I did put the transfer flow on, would it not pass smog? How would they know it was there and less they visually saw it?

    thx

I love my 38 Gal fuel tank. I hate that for you, not the small tank, but the fact that you live in Communist California. That sucks.

It's not that bad, we've got beaches, snow, Disneyland, and they recently repealed the high capacity magazine ban.

Yeah I’ve read through most of those threads. I found a few 38gallon tanks online and just want to find someone to install it.

Transfer Flow would rock. Have it shipped to an out of state buddy. If they ask for a vin, I am sure someone out of CA would happily share w/o a care.

go oem. lot lighter and you can get aftermarket skids plates for it. transferflow sits lower so if you go off road a lot that might be a problem..plus you risk failing visual inspection during smog.

@papasmurf offers the service at his shop I think

@papasmurf is ur man! He’s in SD and does anything you need. Custom fab, suspension and anything you need.

Transfer tank can’t even get sold in Cali. If you have people out of state get it shipped to them and go pick it up. Once it’s on I doubt a smog tech will know what has tank you have

@papasmurf has done the install to his own truck and might be willing to do yours, he does fabrication work.
