How much did you pay for your Tundra?

I got mine Wednesday and paid 35k for an SR5 TRD. It’s a 19 with 8k miles on it.

 

I got the same 4x4 SR5 w/SX Package but in White here in Nebraska for $39K even. That included an added black tailgate insert, deck rail system, spray on Berliner, and all weather mats and door sills. MSRP was more like $45K.

 

I just bought a 2020 SR Double Cab 4x4 with the TXS package (old TRD Pro wheels + Nitto Ridge Grappler tires + tube steps), bed liner and carpet floor mats. Sticker was $41,167. I paid $35,750 + tax, title, etc. $38,450 out the door.

I was looking for a used Tundra, but at this price with these options, I couldn't say no. I think it was a good buy.

 

Picked up my 2020 1794 in Midnight Black with TRD Off-road package today for 47,163 before TTL. MSRP was 55,229. Dealer price was 49,663 minus 2500 rebate.

 

2.5 weeks ago I picked up a new 2020 TRD Sport crewmax with a couple accessories for about $44.5k + California TTL (don't have the sheets in front of me). MSRP was over $47k. Should've been able to get one cheaper but the with the low inventory, it was really hard to find a Tundra, yet find one and a dealership willing to negotiate. Dealerships who had them in stock knew this and weren't really willing to work on numbers much. I essentially got mine for invoice. Had to drive about 250 miles south to get it. If it weren't an outgoing time of the year for the 2020's and incoming for the 2021's, I would've estimate being able to get my exact truck for about $42k including the cashback rebate Toyota was offering (excluding TTL). I like to haggle and usually do not take anything I don't feel is not a fair price. But given the shortage and me needing to get into another truck, I went with it.

Used trucks were ridiculous at the moment so that wasn't even an option. My brother inlaw picked up a 2017 Limited Offroad 4 months back for $37k with 27,000 miles. Similar trucks were running over $40k when I was searching 3 weeks back! It was a better option to just go new.

 

That's really good! I couldn't find anything like that in California. I basically paid that for an SR5 Sport! Would've been nice to have a Limited instead.

 

$31,000 OTD in Utah, but before registration on Co for a new 2019 SR WT DCLB 4x4 included steps and remote entry.

No trade.

This site has cost me about $7,000 (aaaaaand counting) after that.

Last month I purchased a 2015 Limited DC with 44,000 miles. It's got a small lift, airbags on the rear. $28,700 + tax OTD. Purchased from Toyota dealer. Very happy with my purchase!

 

I purchased my 2014 SR5 Crewmax, 4x4 for 26k. I have been happy with it. I sold a 2wd 4door Tacoma with 190k miles on it for 12k to help with the price.

 

My local dealer has a MGM PRO crewmax offering about $3k off sticker...

Now that is a sweat deal! Geez! That's over 20% off. Where are you located? Dealers in California just weren't budging, at least the ones I contacted... I contacted a lot!

 

In Texas and I actually ordered it because they didn’t have the truck on the lot . Well they did the old switch on me saying we have the truck got there and then it magically was sold but one with lift and tires was there. So I made them order me one , and got a sweet deal.

 

Very nice! When I see deals like this, makes me feel like I got raped in the rompers! Had I not need a new vehicle immediately, I would've held off till prices settled a bit.

 

Six years ago I took my 04 Titan in for an inspection. My mechanic called me out to the garage and showed me just how bad it was rusting and advised me to get rid of it FAST. I loved that truck BTW. The following week I did just that. Found my 14 Tundra on the dealer lot with 5k miles on it, it was a demo. They offered me 10K for my Titan, knocked a few thousand off the 42K sticker and then we haggled some more. Drove it away for 26.5K with full warranty and couldn't be happier!I

In so cal, not finding anyone to go below sticker on 4x4 crewmax platinum.... frustrating

 

Check out Hollywood Toyota. I couldn't find anyone to work with in the Central Valley and in the Socal area except them. Most actually told me they're asking more than the advertised priced since there was such a shortage. Paid invoice, but that was pretty much it.

 

Hollywood Toyota just sold a green TRD Pro 11K over sticker... ugh
