Get this, I get connected to Mark Johnson Toyota in Durham, NC by my Navy Federal Credit Union Auto buying program. This so called Dealer Specialist at MJT who is trained to handle these transactions informed me that with this program they can offer $1300 above Invoice, which I thought was a very fair deal, esp right now! I ask for an email that shows the price breakdown she mentioned... so she asks for some color and option preferences so that her Manager can provide the pricing. And this where it all goes downhill, after this so called manager gets involved. He sends me a quote for a 2020 Tundra TRD Pro at $60,520 after a $500 discount! ???
I'm like, what? I ask what that is because it sure ain't 1300 above invoice. They they try and tell me:
"Yes I understand your frustration my manager mentioned there aren’t many options out there for the 2020 option that would give you the 1300 over the invoice pricing because the plant for Toyota is closed and inventory is light. So he priced out a 2021 model since that is coming much sooner"
Then why did the quote say 2020 and I called BS on the Toyota plant being closed, that was months ago... I know they aren't back to full capacity, but dont try to blow smoke up my butt because you dont want to sell my a TRD Pro at a price point you committed to as part of this program.
Additionally, I have 2021 pricing right here... (and they aren't even close to what they tried to justify) $53,050MSRP+$1,595=
    $54,645

I can't stand shady Salesmanship and one lie after another, just unbelievable. I wonder what their GM will have to say about this shady crap... and NFCU!

I feel the pain.... My Moms best friend's husband is a Manager at a local Toyota dealership (hes 2nd man from the top) and after telling me he would hook me up with free side steps / tonneau cover or shave a few hundred of MSRP, he sells me a Pro at full msrp plus cons me into an extended 8 year warranty for $3000. Everyone on here and in local Tundra groups tell me he conned me for double what the extended warranty should have been.
