Hi i recently bought a brand new White toyota tundra trd pro and not even a year after i can see rust dots on the paint on both sides. I got told it is probably because of break dust and the iron in the white paint that would cause that. Any truth to that? And anyone else have this issue ? I have a maintenance appointment at toyota at the end of the month and will get them to take a look at it.

Use a Iron decon spray on your paint. Products like Iron-X from Carpro are great. Spray on the entire vehicle, wait 5 minutes and rinse off. Easy. Some spots may need a little scrubbing but nothing more than that.

My Super White 19 PRO shows no signs of any such rust spots. Good luck with that.

Some people call it "Rail dust". If you youtube rail dust you'll search up all kinds of solutions. Rail dust is on all kinds of vehicles but shows a lot more on white paint compared to any other color. Like @sdiesel619 suggested you can go with Iron-X. I have had good luck with Sonax.

Clay bar and some spray wax. It happens to every color car. I detailed cars for years and every car will have it sooner or later. White is just on the sooner side of the spectrum.

I was really bothered by this at first too. Then I did some reading. It happens to every color, but the advantage of white is we can see it sooner and take care of it. It's pretty amazing what the spray on iron removers do. The one i used turned purple when it hit iron and it definitely is more prevalent where the tires kick up brake dust and things. Do that then seal it well.

Instead of clay, when I had my Super White I used my Griot's polisher, a Nanoskin fine, and some Nano Shock once a year. The paint always looked really good, and was always in a pretty good state of correction.
