San Antonio, Tx - Meet Up

This is a very popular car meet up. So there will be everything out there. Ferraris, Lamborghini, muscle cars, trucks, bikes and anything in between. I get a head count closer to the event so we know how many people we need parking for. There will be hundreds of vehicles at this meet up. There is also The Lone Star Throw Down in Houston March 24-26.

 

Yeah, I was just looking at the FB page and at photos, pretty big deal. Was thinking of reaching out to them just to make sure of the details. Again, this is open to the public, so anyone can come and go. We can just all meet at one side of the parking lot or something and go from there. I want to see all the other cars, but mostly meet people from here and see the Tundras.

 

Perfect! Then I'd say we rally the Toyota troops and see how much of the parking lot we can overtake!

 

How much was your destination fee?

 

Haha.. dont ask. The stupid thing about it, they make them here, ship to Houston, and then ship them back to sell.

 

Dude... if you could get blackjack to show up and maybe TD will be there?? I'll sport my spurs gear just in case

Little over a month away. Anyone else lined up any vendors or how is everything going? I can't wait!

Nothing here, Wes. I reached out to N-Fab twice, with no response whatsoever. I'm guessing this is too small a venue for them to put forth some effort. Either that or I'm a completely horrible salesman!! .....ok, leaning towards the latter here...

 

It's all good. There will be lots of great trucks there, we don't need vendors necessarily.

I'm still saving for a lift for my 2017 Tundra and in the meantime I am a member of this great Tundra forum https://www.tundras.com/threads/san-antonio-tx-meet-up.9333/

there will be a bunch of Tundra owners and awesome bunch of guys coming in from all over for a meet up and show off our vehicles, It would be awesome if you can come out and represent your shop and probably get some good business! I dont know how this works but if you could bring out info and maybe a lifted truck to display that would be great!

Hey Guys. Just a quick update for the San Antonio meet up. For the April 8th meet up I've got Taco Tunes bringing two of his custom trucks his Tundra & Tacoma. RedMcCombs is brings a couple custom trucks. 4 wheel parts will be there.

I don't know if Black Jack will be at this show since they have a Truck show on March 31st at the AT&T center. I'll be there with several other Toyotas for a night show for Fuel wheels. I'll find out more about the time for this other event. It's suppose to have a lot of cars and trucks and it's held later in the evening.

 

Man, passed a Cement TRD Pro this morning on Wurzbach with what was probably a 6-7" lift or more with huge tires. Beautiful truck. If the owner is on here, very nice!

If it wasn't, it looks pretty damn similar. I dont remember the details like the steps and stuff.

 

That's my buddy's truck from 4 wheel parts. He should have his truck at the April 8th S.A. meet up. He is running a 7" procomp coilover lift with Icon UAA.

 

Very cool, I figured it was a 7", it was huge.... He running 35s or was that 37s?

As much as I admired his, he probably saw my truck and was thinking.. Damn, those are some sweet retro headlights, raptor lights, and hood decal. HAHA

 

He has the same set up I'm running with 37" tires & 22"x12" rims. Only difference is he is running procomp coilovers and I'm running fox coilovers. There should be at least five 3rd gens that same size on Aprils meet up.

we are a sponsor of cars & coffee, so we will be out there for sure.
Ill see if I can get a Tundra from Cavender or Alamo Toyota and bring it out as well.
Just an FYI the lot that cars & coffee is in will fill up fast , it has been a complete mad house the past few weeks. If your trying to get every one in together you may plan a pre meet spot then roll in as a group. You may even want to try and get there about 7:30 or so. We show up about 7:15 normally to get set up and it doesn't take long for the parking lot to get packed .
