So I wired up my new Alpine ILX-W650 and bypassed the amp via the 70-8117 kit. Now I don’t have any sound from the front speakers. I followed the below Metra instructions but only wired the woofer wire to the alpine harness. Was I supposed to wire the woofer and tweeter wire together then to the alpine harness? Is that my issue?

Well I found out it was just my driver speaker not working....spent time testing wires and retracing the wiring to no avail. Finally frustrated I pulled my door panel...this could be my problem.

Previous owner really did number on the audio system as he tied in a bazooka sub as well and blew the passenger woofer.
