Installed an AEM brute force intake today.

got a smoking deal for a used one on offer up.

I wasn’t even in the market for one, saw it, made a low ball offer and the guy took it.

took about an hour to install, needed a small amount of 5/8” heater hose to extend a breather hose but other than that it was extremely easy and worth it!

Since I purchased this new to me tundra a few weeks ago, I've made some minor mods. First was a set of step rails. It certainly helps getting into the truck and it really helps my wife as she's only 5ft tall. Before she had to bring a collapsing step stool with her ;) I like these because the end caps are solid, not a slide on cap. Also added a Tyger roll-up tonneau cover and a bet mat. All of these were purchased off of Amazon and has really stepped up the looks and functionality of the truck. These are also the cheapest options I found, so far so good. Still have more mods to do in regard to an upgraded brake controller and brake kit, but that comes later. Right now just enjoying the truck...

They fit nicely, feel comfortable, and the passenger side doesn’t budge when passengers are getting in and out. Got em from Auto Accessories Garage $107 1st row only...These replaced Kagu 3D mats, the driver side was separating after about 3 years and the passenger side always slipped out of position.

I have the same steps I think, they somehow fill with water though. After the rain or a cold night there will be a puddle under them so I expect them to rust out after a few years.

Fabbed up a bracket for my Waterport. After using it, I think I am going to switch it to the passenger side.

^^^^ Great idea. I did something similar on my last camping trip. Put this in the back of the bed. Comes in handy.

Got Expel installed on my Nova Headlights. Nothing you can really see, but 10 year warranty.

Got ceramic tint put on my front windows. Wanted to match my factory 20% in the rear.

What do ya think? I personally think it's not as dark as the rear, but I'm happy with it!

Top 2 are some overlays I got. They were low quality and one melted when I used a heat gun to even the decals out.
Bottom one is a solid badge. I got this kit, which is a hell of a great price and the quality is great.

Weekeight 9PCS Fit FOR Tu 2007-2013 Matte Black Out Emblem Badges tailgate 9 Piece Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083LP84VW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_5ZUhFb2SC3PZX

    Decals are from @rrentrop https://tvdvinyldecals.com/collecti...lem-insert-decals-for-2014-2018-toyota-tundra

I haven’t had time to install them yet, but should soon.

Only 2 bolts snapped taking off the tranny pan. My night was cut short when my friend called asking for a tow because he blew his corolla up... so I’ll be finishing this on my lunch today.

Taking off drain pans in the rust belt is a definite no no for routine maintenance. Asking for more trouble.

That’s just part of the maintenance. I manage and maintain a large fleet of trucks and equipment and many of them plow and spread salt. It’s just something you have to deal with and not doing something because you’re worried about a bolt breaking is not a good motto for maintaining vehicles.
