That's not fair. You don't even get rain where you live. :boink:

Tires would help but growing my my dad's 2WD trucks struggled badly at times in our Tennessee soil and hilly terrain.

I cut a hole in my floorboard right below the gas pedal so I can give it even more gas.

All jokes aside, when I had stock tires I got stuck on an embarrassingly slight hill covered in tall wet grass. Since then, with bigger and better tires and LSD, I haven't been stuck aside from the time I high centered. 4wd is still way better though, I have to rely on momentum and tear up paths while 4wd can cruise.

I dont have the LSD, i think, pretty sure it's the hybrid slip?? someone can probably tell me better, but i am hoping the larger, better tread tires i plan on upgrade do help some.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. Yup loving this thing. The tires are mud tires and are loud af inside the cabin. Will be switching out to all terrains soon.

@JONGU413 that is a really nice looking truck, the color is pretty rare. I like those wheels a lot too, those are the best ones TRD made I think. Good choice.

It doesn’t mention my differential. But I found a site with specs that shows only locking and LSD as an option. I would guess since it’s def not locking it may be the LSD.. thanks for the help! Pretty sweet getting the spec sheet.

You will have a white LSD sticker on your rear diff if you have that option, unless the cover has been replaced at some point.

Those stickers can fall off too. Mine is barely visible after 18 years.

I’ll take a hard look. Never seen a white sticker but she’s lived outside all her life, so may be same as you.

Huh, I just snapped this pic of my rear diff, my sticker is clear as a bell. Right above the plug.

But of course, my truck has lived in the Southwest it's whole life... :bananadance:
