When you change out the puddle lights can you unplug them from the bottom of the mirror or do you have to get inside the fixture? mine should be coming in the mail tomorrow.

The wires pull out of the bottom of the mirror with the stock light assemblies. Easy peasy:

I can confirm that FogLightsEddieV1 (attached) does work exactly as written for the 2011 Sequoia.

I tried to take pictures, but they aren’t as good as the original instructions.

In the end, I did grab one of my fogs on with the high beams:

    Wuhoo!

(They still only come on with the taillights. I might need to power the 12v side of the relay with ignition instead of taillight power like I did on my old 4Runner. Stay tuned.)

ZacMaster - Love the grill mod. I am new here so excuse my ignorance if this is common knowledge. Do you have the model where the grill opens with the hood? If so what mods did you have to make to install the new TRD grill? I have a 2014 and I was told there were a few modifications I would need to make. Thank you for your time and love your truck.

Yes, the grill opens with the hood, and there were ZERO mods to be made. Ten 10mm bolts to swap out grills and two Phillips screws to swap out the hood release mechanism.

it took me 10 minutes total instead of 5 minutes total because I was REALLY careful not to scratch either the hood or the bumper just maneuvering the new grill with one hand while I started a few bolts with the other.

Thanks! It's amazing the difference that new grill makes.

Did you do these the same way as the mirror caps, sand and paint with bumper/trim paint? Any issues with the caps rubbing on the actual handles once painted? Any other tips for doing it? I’d really rather do this than buy the stock black handles and mirror caps from Toyota for over $300!!!

    I found mine here: https://www.proclipusa.com/vehicle/dashboard-mounts/toyota-sequoia/2011

I did do them the same way, exactly as described. I hate it. They easily scratch, etc. I am now in the market for the officially-painted ones.

This might have been a better plan than my bumper paint...I wish I had known how easily they scratched.

Hey guys! So I went a little crazy today.
I peeled the Flexfuel badge off but the V8 badge was on there real good and I didn’t want to scratch/break anything so it got dipped too!
It all turned out better than I expected!

    Awhile ago, I did this:

But after a year or so, they looked horrible. Apparently bug guts eats away the paint.

So I ordered some magnetic gray caps from Amazon, and I’m very happy with the upgrade.

Thanks for the update. Im trying to decide between colour match or black mirror caps. Colour match for the handles for sure but I think one of the black colours for the mirrors could look pretty good since there is already the black plastic.
