Thanks, I'm a little OCD on cleaning. I've turned some real turd-tastic interiors into beuaties.

I don't normally reco products, but here's my usual M.O.:

CarGuys' Super Cleaner works great on interior panels and cloth seats, it's incredible what it takes off, just follow the directions. Believe it or not, Simple Green (green liquid, not the purple alloy-safe liquid) is also excellent for interior panel cloth but I only use it after I pull my door cards. Pull your door card, Wet the fabric, spray the SG on, let it soak for a minute, brush it with a medium nylon or similar bristle brush. Rinse with a hose, running your hand back and forth across the material as you rinse.

Best way I've found to clean auto carpets is not much different to pull it out of the car, lay it on the ground, brush the carpet with a clean wheel brush to dislodge any loose stuff. Then hang it carpet-side down and beat the sand and dirt out of it as best you can for a few minutes. Flip it back over carpet-side up on concrete. Hit it with some water, then spray Simple Green all over. Massage it in by hand, hit any difficult spots with a medium-bristle nylon brush just like the doors. Then use a wide-tip 30-40º nozzle to pressure wash the entire carpet until it's not foaming out anymore. Use your hands to squeegee out as much water as you can, then Put it out in the sun to dry a couple afternoons before you reinstall. Helps to hang it over something, the water will follow gravity. Might as well NOICO the floor while you're waiting for it to dry!

I hate Armor All products, but I will say: Their cleaning wipes are actually really, really useful for interior plastics. Follow-up with 303 Aerospace protectant on plastics.

Believe me, I know the carpet cleaning technique sounds drastic or radical. It will get your carpet looking way newer and much cleaner in an environmentally-friendly way without hash chemicals, dyes or perfumes. It won't fix heavily worn/torn spots though. I don't buy into steam cleaning, there's just so many crevices and folds under the seats, between seats and center console, at the door sills. Damn impossible.

Oh yeah, and while door card is off, it's technically possible to replace the fabric on the door just like you'd do a headliner. Gotta pop the melted rivets on the back, it's kinda a pain in the ass. You can use wide-head short screws to reattach the panel. It's a lot of work to make it look nice, though.

Yes and no. Know how to turn a wrench but not certified. My buddy got slammed and had an employee call in sick. I help him out from time to time.
    Yeah, rebuilt 3.4 for a 99 4Runner. Cracked head.

Is the 3.4 basically a smaller version of the 4.7? Looks pretty similar

Same problem happened to me when I did the Sharpie. Never will go solid. Lived with it until I was doing other work with some LacquerToy Barcelona Red. Did my seat belt buttons and they look smooovvv!

Still Sharpie’d Red lock sticker in this pic? I did the Lacquer on the locks last as the order of flow dictated.

Looking at Fabbing up a few more Redundant Grounds to hook to the Chassis to Firewall Lug and Battery Quarter Panel Lug to Chassis locations.

These are the ones fabbed up the other day.

I could never cut it that perfectly. But you know, I didn't think about it until you said this. I should pull out my digital caliper, measure and see if it's using a standard dimension. Maybe there's already pre-cut, rounded vinyl out there this size.

How would you all read the situation if your HR in its entirety, collectively quit on the same day including the HR manager?

That happened today, and it doesn't sit well with me

That’s a bold move. Hopefully they were doing it for the little guys like you and not something selfish.
But that’s pretty pretty crazy! Haha your next shift might be pretty interesting, maybe start making backup plans.......whatever that means to you

I doubt they were doing it for us. Only one was selfless. Most were young, green, dicks who had neither the life experience, nor tenure to really read a situation. Always following the "book"

Sounds like corp. was pushing them to do something shady, illegal or immoral.
I guess there's no one to fight them at unemployment court - LOL.
...or, the HR manager was caught & was going to be fired, but the team is so tight knight they all left with him/her.

i can't imagine all those people quitting at a time like now in an environment like this. Something pretty bad going on.

Who's going to process payroll now? Keep good records for yourself!

    I wondered about this.
I had my suspicions that he was fucking all the young, fresh, college graduates that were hired into HR. EVERY SINGLE female HR person was VERY attractive, and young. That's not a coincidence. Not in my eyes.

Agreed. Something is afoot, and I don't like it.

I always have kept records of what I can track. HR has always fucked peoples vacation times up, points, and hours. A weekly struggle for most out here.
