that on my 2019 they work fantastic with 37's.

Traffic came to a stop, pavement a little wet. At 60 miles and hr I mashed the pedal and all 4 wheels locked up and the ABS kicked in like it should. Ass end shifted to the left just a little, tires were barking (Patagonias) after about 50' (total wag) I hit the throttle and took the shoulder.

I have been really pleased with this truck and brakes are a pet peeve of mine so to say I'm pleased is an understatement.

I just bought a 2017 Tundra and also very impressed with the braking - The front Calipers have 4 Pistons and offer a lot of power !

I have utilized my ABS to avoid hitting deer twice, it works great!

    Not enough....
I'm not sure why people complain about the brakes on these trucks, they aren't bad.

I came from a first gen (2001) Tundra and dealt with those crappy brakes before I did the TSB on them myself for the larger calipers. Rears were of course still drums. You want to talk about undersized brakes.....they were horrible.

I've been pleased with my 2016 brakes even when towing.

I've done many brake jobs on Toyota trucks with the 4 piston calipers. As long as a piston isn't seized they work great. Being from the North originally I've had to pound the pins out because the rust is so bad. But generally I needed to wire wheel them and they went right back into place.
