I already hit 10k miles on my 17 Tundra

I got my 2017 Tundra back on October 15 2016. Today I hit 10K after driving four months. I'm sure I'll have 30k miles within a years time. I love my Tundra and I look for excuses to drive it more.

 

Nice!!! I have about 4700 miles since Dec 4 on my 2017.

 

That was fast. How much did fuel cost for that 10k miles, just wondering. I have a 7" lift and 37"s.

 

I'm also running a 7" lift, 37" tires with 4.30 gears. Usually on each fill up I put about 30 gallons in on my 38 gallon tank. Out of 30 gallons I get around 380-400 miles. I only run premium gas. I know some people say it premium gas is a waste but it's my truck and I prefer it. It probably cost me around 2k in gas so far.

 

Are you planing on upgrading to 4.88s? That will be my next purchase. Only had it 1 week and my bank account is draining fast.

 

Yes sir. 4.88s it's the next big upgrades for my truck.

 

I'm torn. I drive my truck everywhere. I'm addicted to driving it. I feel guilty for driving so much but can't help it cause I love to drive it.

 

I am is the same boat/Truck with you, I'm at 8K since Oct 16th in my new truck and lovin every minute/mile of it

 

Got my 17 in November 2016, have 2100 miles on it now!

 

I'm about the same as you Geno, got my '17 the 2nd week of November, have about 1950 on it now. One of the benefits of living 3 miles from where I work.

 

My 16 will be at a year in a month and I'm at 65411 today. It never gets old driving it.

 

Got mine October 2016 as well and just hit 13K, need a commuter car hah

 

Got mine June of 2016 have 2650 miles on it. Have an 98 4 runner I use during the week.

 

I've considered getting a beater. maybe an older tundra or a Cummins for a work Truck. But I got this truck to use it and it's really comfortable.

 

Got mine last month and have just gone over 2k

Dang I thought I drove a lot. My baby will be a year old next month and I have 25,000 on it.

 

My new to me '14 I bought in the beginning of September '16 and I've put 15k on it.

 

Miles pack on quick... my new 17 I picked up on 5/31 and I've already got 2600 miles. That does include a 500 mile road trip up to the Mtns. Hate packing on miles so fast but it sure gobbles them up.

 

After six months I've already racked up 21K miles. Might need to get another car to put all the miles on. I do love to drive my Tundra though!

 

I was thinking the same thing. After 4 months I have 10700 miles so far. But I may pick up a WRX just for around the town stuff. That way the miles only go up on trips.

 

Brought my 17 Tundra home on January 30, 2017. 15,890 miles so far. I drive a lot for work, which I am compensated for. So I don't mind logging miles on a Toyota. I will be out of factory warranty long before the first year is up.

 

I got my 17 tundra in December of 2016 and will hit 10,000 miles this week. I took it in for its 10000 mile service this weekend. Leaving for Florida in two weeks. Driving down to Destin,FL and gonna stop to see family in South Carolina on the way home

 

Destin, FL had very nice white sand beaches!

 

May 1st, 2015 we drove off the lot and now have 7,800 miles. Still has the new car smell because it stays garaged.
Once I retire this will change radically because I will be giving up the company truck. All part of my plan to contain costs. Registration and insurance is hugely reduced from new to 3 years old.

 

well I'm at 86k and some change now lol. Still drives like it did new. My main trailer on the other hand has been beat on pretty hard as well and it's starting to fall apart.

 

Just rolled over 50k on my 14 Platinum....drove a Honda Fit for a few years as a commuter before retirement. The Tundra stayed garaged. I racked the miles up on the Fit it and sold it the month after I retired.

 

Picked my 17 up in Nov and have 12K on it.
