My dad did all scheduled maintenance and did it all at the Toyota dealership. He never did any mods and I like your idea of keeping it as he did for awhile before I do I any customization.
I took it to the dealership to have an inspection performed, changed the oil and had the brakes done. It runs great. He had gotten new Michelin’s within a few months of his passing away.
In the future I would consider doing a small lift nothing too much and some new rims. I need to restore the headlights as the casing is very opaque and yellowish. I waxed it, restored the black trim and shampooed the upholstery and floor mats.
    It’s a great truck.
