so i just bought a 2007 tundra limited crewmax and so far i'm super happy with it, other than one annoying issue. i'm intermittently getting a fast dinging or beeping "warning chime type noise" the noise its self is faster/more frequent, and lighter as far as volume than the chime that goes off when a passenger is not wearing their seatbelt , so its distinctively different from that. there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. the first time i noticed it was in a slow left hand turn from a stop, no body roll or anything. i thought maybe it was traction control but it happened going up a slight incline yesterday at a steady speed on dry pavement. i have tried cycling my sonar on and off (i keep it off). and tried switching the headlights on and off, among a few other things. i even did a full scan of every module on the vehicle to see if there were any codes or errors stored, to no avail. has anyone else experienced this?? it happens almost every other ride at this point. i have ab a 20-30 minute commute both ways everyday.

Have you checked all your bulbs? I'm new to the Tundra game but I know that my brothers 03 Ram dings at him if a bulb is out. A couple years ago he had a failing tail light circuit board and if you hit a bump just right it would ding until you hit another bump and it fixed the connection.

Sounds like a headlight switch or something that would not set a code. Those ribbons in the column can be a double barrel pain

Does yours have lane keeping assist? I turned mine on accidentally the other day and kept hearing it with no warning lights

Steering wheel button. But yours might be too old for it. D0EB8B5E-EEE2-4286-B79E-76204962B985.jpg

well i checked my owners manual against the lights on my cluster and they all seem to be illuminating with koeo. i was hoping that maybe i had a burned out bulb for a warning light, which would explain why i had a chime with no warning illuminated, which would lead me in the right direction but to no avail. i was also able to go into the bcm with our computer at my shop and lower the volume on the seatbelt warning, and kill the headlight warning chime, still having the same issue. this is driving me nuts....again there is no rhyme or reason to it, sometimes it won't happen at all on an hour long drive, then the next day it happens every time i start driving, usually within the first 10 minutes. i also dug around under the dash and there are no aftermarket devices or out of place wiring there or in the kick panel so i kind of ruled that out. plus it sounds like a factory tone.
