Hi guys, I have a Bakflip on my truck and would like to run a tailgate pad to get my bikes to the trail quickly and easily. I do not want to take the tailgate pad on and off.

I'm looking at something like the Fox Overland or Dakine Pickup Pad. I think if any of these are fairly thin at the inside edge of the tailgate I might be able to adjust my Bakflip forward or remove the weather strip to allow it to close with the tailgate pad installed. Has anyone done this??

What does your rear latches on the Bakflip look like? My cover's latches are adjustable for tightness, so it could just be loosened to work with the pad.
