Has anyone had any issues with your headlight lenses becoming scuffed only on the top flat portion of each headlight?

I do not wash with a brush. Occassionally will run through a NO TOUCH auto wash.

2018 CM with approximately 43,000 miles.

This started on the passenger side at around 25,000 miles. Now both side are bad.

Hope the pics can reveal what I am talking about.

    Thank you

Thanks! I have wet sanded and buffed headlamps in the past. I had already planned to do a cover up with good grade 3M black vinyl to match my hood and hood bulge. I was curious if anyone knew of a recall or warranty repairs related to this also.

You can wet sand them again and spray them with 2K automotive clear. That will clean them up for good. They have 2K clear in 2 stage rattle cans that work pretty well.

That sounds like a good fix! Thank you!

I've never done these headlights... Only previous vehicles.

When I bought my 14 last July 4th the headlights were pretty bad even on the top. @War Machine was gracious enough to send me his near new pull off headlights. To prevent the same issues I use Sprayway Glass Cleaner on them a couple times a week. Had them now for several months and still looking good. Sprayway is good stuff!

Yep! Just make sure you get the automotive 2 stage clear. Not the clear coat they have at Home Depot. It won’t last.

Where did you get the vinyl from? Or did you DIY?

I ended up having KTD Customs do it in Kernersville NC. They turn out some nice rides there!
