    Hey all,

I just scored a 2011 DC SR5 with the 4.6 that had been sitting in a storage unit since 2016... true find with only 30k miles on it! Records found in the truck state the brake fluid, oil (synthetic), transmission fluid and coolant had all been replaced within 500 miles. I already ripped a cv boot with got grease everywhere on my 4 hr drive home but other than the oil is there anything i should really look into after it was sitting for so long?

I would replace the engine oil, since its been immobile for 4 years... I threw out an old mobil 1 oil can that was new that sat around for about 5 years and that oil was pretty dark, yes it had sat in the sun for a few months or maybe a year. I'd get a pre-purchase inspection and have them do a full rundown in case of anything else that is hiding. Doubt there will be any issues, but if you already tore a CV boot, might as well get it inspected to make sure.

    Nice score BTW and Congrats.
