So I'm thinking of doing some minor tweaking to try maximizing fuel economy and power out of the 2UZ-FE in my 2007 Double Cab.

I was thinking of going with 1 heat range hotter plugs and running 91 octane premium fuel.

Also, anyone tried Ruthenium HX plugs?

Worth a try, better yet, consider non ethenal 91 and bring back some smiles in conjunction to your hotter plugs...what about 12 hole injectors? My 05 4runner has same engine and I'm curious about those updated injector potentials myself...

HulkSmurf1 - already using non-ethanol 91 at the moment. Hoping the hotter plugs can help for more complete combustion
