so I decided to take off the switch pro and Try again. came to the conclusion that it’s A problem with the mount. It’s still not snapping in place. Gave it more then a couple “love taps” and nothing

That’s a different mount that I have a file for. Only problem is that it got 3D printed with PLA material and will warp in the heat. So really can’t use it as it gets hot in the summer time with the windows closed.

 

Haven’t seen one mounted there in person. Would be nice looking though! Good luck Tony @fisherman, keep us posted on the results

It's a spacer, 2 spacers actually, that change the angle of the front differential.

 

I'm curious, has anyone here replaced the thin-walled aluminum rear driveshaft with a custom built steel unit?

 

@Bo-Hunter had a custom length driveshaft made. I think it’s steel but I’m not sure. He said he’s very happy with it. Maybe he’ll chime in.

A Bridgeport mill or any mill for that matter. Had 4 pieces of plastic I need to mill out for a custom rack im building

Yeah, I’m hoping so too Just looking to use it for an hour or so. Right now my options are: 1) find someone nice enough to let me use their mill, 2) buy a 3D printer and print the pieces or 3) get a membership to urban workshop and use their mill. 2 and 3 a pretty pricey for the little amount of work that needs to be done

 

My tundra got a new parking spot today. Back to the IE for me.

Thank you everyone. It’s been a lot of sacrifice and hard work to get to this point. Can’t wait to get back out. Good news is we are 15 min to the Cleghorn trail head.
