Anyone have any reports from your neck of the woods?

A lot of the dealers seem to have one, maybe two if you're lucky, that is used for sale. Some have zilch.

Usually keep an eye on dreggsliss to stay in tune with pricing and the occasional used part like a brand new OEM muffler that was in storage for 15 years.

Historically, there have been 2-4 used 1st Gens that roll through Weekly and sell fairly quickly. Some stayed on for longer (probably rust). Nowadays, there have been slim pickings. Maybe 1 a week and then the one high miles rust bucket thats been on for 2 months.

Saw one guy reporting about lots of scammers and the reason he took his truck off the list, but he put it back up for sale.

Hard to find in my neck of the woods. I found the perfect truck for me in black eventually. Not my first choice but finding an affordable late model Toyota truck in great shape has always been an issue. I have sold them before in one day or less.

    My find is a 2012 Crewmax Platinum with 115k. I paid $22k.

I found 2018 SR5 4.6L in blue with 54k miles for $29k. I'd like white. Salesman texted this a.m. at 9am to say it was sold. I just chatted with him 12 hours before.

Good info. I'll check this out.

Same here in SW Michigan...low inventory. I waited months to buy my 2015 DC SR5 TRD in 2018.
Plentiful options from the first owner.
Paid $31.9K with only 19,700 miles and very clean.
Bought it 2 days after it hit the lot...I knew it would be gone quickly otherwise. No regrets!

I’ve been looking for a 2009-2012 Crewmax 5.7 4x4 for the past 6 months but a year ago it was typical to see 100,000 miles for $20,000 and for 150,000 for $15,000 now it’s about $2,000 more. My original budget was $15,000 but I have found only 5 owners, 3 accidents, and from Canada.
Here’s a good explanation of the inventory

So I’m in NW Ohio GM country and I joined here to maybe find a deal but as I talk to dealers across the country they all have said “we have low inventory” so when things calm down will prices go back down or stay the same?

I haven’t shopped for one, so I can’t say, but I have been noticing a ton of Tundras driving around lately. More than I’m used to.

Ranch Hand Summit front and rear bumpers. Diamondback SE tonneau cover. Rigid DOT fogs. LED headlight/fog replacement bulbs. Matt Gecko hood, and bed LED's. Foot well led's, and interior LED buld replacement. (warm) Broke the front shock of the 3" spacer lift, so replaced with 6112/5160 and 1' block rear. KO 2's. Speaker replacement, added amp and (2) 10's under seat. Weathertech floor mats. Salex organizers. Ziebart undercoating. RCI front, transmission/diff, and gas tank skids received, waiting for spring install. Compustar remote starter. front/rear dash cam.
I would look in Texas. Plenty of choices, and little rust.

Always some in TX, usually premium priced.

Fewer new ones. Factory was shut down for a few months due to Covid.

87 within 500 km of me; 30 within 100 km. Not sure how many there normally are but it doesn't seem that low to me.
