Also posted a thread under suspension and maybe not too many people saw it....but I have a 7 inch bds lift on my 08 with fox 2.5 coil overs and shocks. Would these swap right over to the white platinum I posted since it has a 6 inch pro comp lift?

If you’ve owned that 08 since new, I’d keep it. Mod it, paint it, whatever makes you feel excited again. But you’re never gonna find a better truck than the one you had from new, if you maintained it well.

I haven’t owned it since new. It’s a fantastic truck and runs great. But my thinking is, I have to pay registration in a few months. It needs some maintenance work and I know I want a new one anyways. So before I pay money for a new belt, pads and rotors along with 550 on registration I’d rather trade it in and get a newer one. I don’t keep my vehicles forever but this next one I buy will definitely be mine for 5 years

I would look for an un-modded Platinum.
Since you have the only thing the Platinum doesn't have (BDS 7"), this would make the most of your current investment as well as get you a loaded trim. These are not the droids you are looking for... lol
    Keep looking, be patient.
    I have a 17' Platinum and I love it.

I love everything about the platinums, already color matched and the interior actually seems like a modern truck lol. But I like the lift already installed so it’s included in my financing lol....we’ll see

Might want to consider adding 38 gallon tank to your list of requirements.

Believe you have to get one with the upgrade package if you're going for an SR5. Not sure about the higher trim levels.

Do what you want, but I would be another vote for keep what you have.

save you a looottttt of money in the long run, if you care about that kind of thing.
