First time poster here, tried to find similar issue previously posted and didn’t come across anything, so any help is appreciated.

has anyone figured out how to download and install apps through Entune App suite on the 2020 Platinum? My wife has a 2017 Sienna and I was able to download a handful of apps to the vehicle but I’ve been unable to do that on the Tundra. Toyota was no help...

    thanks!

I think they are all included inside the App Suite (besides Alexa). But don't quote me.

So as an example, on my 2017 Sienna I was able to download and install GasBuddy through Entune. There is no ability from what I can find to download and install other apps even though they showcase that as a feature of Entune.

I don’t think you can download that stuff. I think with the Apple Car Play some compatible apps pop up but there were more apps on the old Entune, like I Heart Radio, a movie thing, fuel prices, and sports scores. Don’t quote me though cause my dealer didn’t even think Tundras had Entune at all so I had to figure that out on my own on my 2020

Thanks, was wondering if CarPlay and Android Auto milled the functionality of the other apps.

I told you not to quote me o_O

I had the 2017 Tundra TRD Pro and it wasn't the same Entune system as this 2020. I'm thinking with Entune 3.0, the apps are all in the App Suite and they'll just add new ones as they update it. Maybe with CarPlay and Android Auto, they don't see the need to give us the option to add to the Suite? I'm sure one of the guru's on here will give us the correct answer.

I’ve just an SR5 TSS but I have CarPlay and no Entune apps at all. If I press the install button in Entune it complains about no USB drive.

I'm not sure if there are different versions of Entune for different trim levels but here's a link to get updates if you are unable to do so through your phone.

This is the site to download updates: https://securedp.toyota.com/download-app/getUpdates

There's an update for the 2020 with Nav dated Nov 2019. Updates past that one should come OTA.

    Stock, for now
Reading titles, What is a tunra? Just kidding. Fix the “tunra” to be a tundra. They are faster and nicer.
