    Uhh...

    What makes him think you pay more for a Tundra? I paid less than I would have if I'd gotten a GM or Ford.

    So he just told us to buy from Amazon rather than supporting local businesses?

    50,000 miles in two years isn't very much?!

    Chrysler slant 6 was supposedly a good engine but who knows if whatever they bolted it to was ever decent.

    I don't know... option for option any 1/2 ton truck is probably in the same ballpark +/- a couple grand out the door. I think Toyota gets the "costs you more" reputation because they generally don't discount as much as the big 3. Meaning, Toyota isn't marked up $12k on MSRP so the dealerships can run commercials saying "SAVE $12,000 during Truck Month!!" like the others.
