That's my plan, in the bumper. It has a little grille between the fog lights. I'm going to try and cram it in there.

Dirty as hell right now. But, I froze my digits off and managed to get a few of the new parts installed today. Door handles, mirror caps, and ESP box.

I'm gonna challenge myself and say the wheels are 20"x9 Fuel Assasult's +20 offset, 34"-35" (295-315) tires with at least a 3/1 level.

And as a bonus ... He's got the clear rear Spyder tail lights too.

Lol ... I just saw his signature.

Good job Dave LOL. It is the LRO 3/1 lift with 35 inch tires. I did have to do the front fender liner mod and I do get a rub on the cab mount which I ordered relentless fabrication chop plates. I'm definitely happy with the look of the 35 inch tires though. It really beefs up the truck.

I've been considering the LRO 3/1 but all the forums I've read have me paranoid about needing UCAs too. Any thoughts on this?

We've gotten about 8"-9" of snow in the past 24hrs, but my Tundy just pushes through. I've got all my mods to install (TRD sway bar, TRD headlights, TRD skid plate, TRD grille, TRD CAI, LED light bar, and LED bed lights) it's just too damn cold, even in the garage.

Had the Boss 3/1 lift installed, trimmed the skid plate, and also had front fender well mod done. Then bumped up to 285/60/20 Michelin MS2 Defender tires which ride like a dream.
Very happy with my keepin it stock look.

There's nothing much to see. The paint is perfect under the vinyl. Just use a hair dryer and start peeling. A little wax when you're done and you're set! I gotta do the other side tomorrow.

Got the TRD Pro grille with matched surround and bulge installed. Also threw on the TRD Pro headlights. The TOYOTA is painted Silver Sky as well (a nice little touch).

To each their own in removing the piece between the windows. Personally I like mine black but that looks good too.

Yea, it took quite a few days of contemplation to decide if I wanted to do it. In the end, I'm happy with the look.

Nice! I ordered mine pre-painted from Sparks along with the door handles and mirror covers b/c I don't have a relationship with any of the local body shops and didn't want to take the chance.

Pretty much what I'm afraid about doing is this and then not liking it ... to look different might be nice though.

Yeah, that's what I did (ordered from Sparks parts) when I decided to go color matched since the local paint shops wanted to much money to paint my first Pro grill. I then sold my first grill to make up some of the cost of the color matched one.

If your going to buy from Roman, have his paint guy do his thing ... it will be cheaper in the long run.

Yeah, that's one of those, if you don't like it, you can't go back. Well I guess you could, but what a pain in the ass. For sure makes it look different but I like the silver and black contrast.

Just had the Boss 3/1 lift installed 285/60/20 Michelin Defender tires, factory OEM Platinum rims, stock OEM UCA's...alignment is fine truck drives true and handles excellent on the highway. Great ride! Just my observation and experience FWIW.

Good to know about the stock UCA, everything I've seen was recommended to replace it.

Took off the OEM stickers today (why red?) and replaced with aftermarket vinyl. I like the look WAY better, but the problem with cut vinyl is that all the little edges and corners have a tendency to get snagged and start to lift/peel. Especially when washing/waxing/car wash etc. I don't think it's going to be a long term solution.

Having said that, I had my graphic designer pull the logo from Brands of the World yesterday, and send off to a printer for Black & Grey versions that are made just like OEM with the clear background and die-cut around the TR portion of the logo (These will be indistinguishable from OEM). We are basically just replacing the red areas with grey. We asked for 10 pairs to keep cost down (still waiting for the quote) so I'll likely have some extras to sell if anyone else is interested??? The stealership charges $56ea side for the OEM stickers, I think we can do the pair for less.

Also, one of you asked for more images of the black vinyl removal between windows . . . it's pretty easy to do, takes about 10-15mins each side. I'd recommend a hair dryer, I used a heat gun, but you have to be on lowest setting and keep your distance or the vinyl just melts and breaks continuously. A hair dryer would work perfect. Then hit it with a little GoofOff to remove any remaining residue.

Thanks for posting more pics! I'm pretty sure it was me who asked ... Still uncertain about doing it though. I'm afraid that if I'm not happy, it would be hard to go back to black.
