    Hello,

    I have a 2015 4WD V8 5.7L (engine model 3UR-FE) Double Cab w/ a tow package. Looks like this travel trailer is close to my towing limits. Has anyone towed this camper or one with a similar weights?

    I really like my Grand Design 2800BH, but that model of GD appears to be a little much for your truck. I know your double cab has a little higher towing rating due to the reduced weight but that is a lot of trailer for a 1/2 ton.

    Hate to be that person but you may need to get a diesel. It may be okay for Florida flat land but don’t go near mountains with that. If you’re staying local or stationary, you might be okay.

    We went from a Ram 2500 Powerwagon(gas) to a new Ram 2500 diesel for our 22MLE after doing a 2200 mile road trip. Wish they’d just sell diesels at the Rv dealer to make things easier. Lol.
