Hey guys looking to see who has changed out their covers from OEM to an aftermarket cover and what feed back can you give? I use to run Mag-Hytec on a cummins (almost 10 years ago) with amsoil and noticed a difference. Currently running a 2020 SR5 4x4 trying to keep this bad boy running for the long haul so any advice would be helpful.

Our rear diff has no cover. There are a couple options out there for increasing auto tran capacity.

There is no aftermarket cover for the rear differential of a 2007+ Tundra. The rear portion of the differential is non-removable

B&M's pan is pricey too. A good product. B&M has been a great aftermarket supplier for years. Decades actually. I posted PML's pan because it's a family owned business that has been making aftermarket pans for quite some time too. I appreciate the fact, that as a small business compared to B&M, PML took the time to engineer, fab, and produce a very good competitor to B&M. What surprises me is that there is a post about the 19's and up about losing the tranny cooler. This is an option that is not being discussed about at all. Especially for members that tow a lot...:monocle:

Thanks for the info. Love helping out small businesses especially local ones. I will definitely look at getting this pan.

Juan, give PML a call. Tell them what you want to do about upgrading and what their pan will do for you. I don't tow much at all. I was considering getting PML's pan for my 07. They were good enough to respond when their pan became available. Still on my list. Not a bad upgrade at all even if you don't tow. A lot of members here use their Tunnies in the extreme high heat Kali desert offroading conditions and I know their tranny temps might get a bit high but they "might" not be monitoring that. I'm throwing that thought out to Monet, @Pinay. She goes out a lot to the desert with several other members here...food for thought. Sorry @Pinay . :spending::mudding:
