I have the flowmaster outlaw. Started with the Toyota TRD that came with the truck and did not like it because it is rather sedate. I went to flowmaster 40 and found it lame. I like the outlaw because it really barks when you put the hammer down. If, however, you can't deal with drone at highway speeds you will not like it because at around 2K RPM there is serious drone.

Give Keith @dirtydeeds a call he will answer all your questions to get you what you need.
His customer service is the best.

I think there is still a group buy going on.

I got the 8" system. It is very nice. It might be a lil' more dough than other options, it is worth saving for.

If you are patient, you can always find a used DirtyDeeds set up too. They pop up now and again, when people sell their trucks.

I called Keith @dirtydeeds and came out with a not so common 7". I wanted it to be louder than an 8" but not have the 6" popping/raspiness (based on the youtube videos). No drone (installed the Helmholtz resonator that comes with the kit) and the sound doesn't "invade" the cab. Like nishibot said, call Keith and explain to him what you want.

And yes, DD's Helmholtz tube is a MUST! If you don't get one, you can be on a long trip and the drone will become irritating and make you want to change your exhaust again.

I think the DD budget system is more comparable to the flow master outlaw (and cheaper). I had the budget system before and it was freaking awesome. Loud and raspy with almost no drone on the highway. I switched out to a 10” BA system recently due to some neighbors complaining when I left the house in the morning and a baby on the way but I highly recommend all the DD systems. Keith is a stand up guy too.
