Tightening 2019 spare tire?

    With my old 08 Tundra when tightening up the spare (underneath) it would slip when it got tight, my 19 doesn't, is that normal with the newer trucks? Bent the end of one of the hollow tire rods giving it a little extra trying to get it to slip.

    Yeah it seems tight enough that's for sure. Decided to check out the manual and it says to tighten to 37 ft lbs (not sure how you could do that) so I don't think the newer trucks have the slip feature.
