I ordered the pedal commander and throttle body spacer, whichever comes first that's the one that I'm going to try

Really love it so far. Tons of audio options and controls, sounds great, quick and responsive.

Gotta get that supercharger! The other day I took off from a stop light, on it pretty good but not flooring it (about 4k RPM shifts).

A Toyota Sienna was right there with me the whole time.:mad::oops:

Cost effective? $300? On a thread where the dude asked about a TBS and CAI? That's hilarious.

Lol, I have wasted exponentially more than $300 on things that truly hindered the driving experience. This thing improved the driving experience, so for a couple hundred bucks I consider it cost effective. Even if I don't use it for 1/3 of the year.

And hey man, its winter and its slick in Alaska, you do what you can to stay rubber side down.

Superchargers are great but no one is talking about all the other stuff you've gotta do: gear swaps, bulletproofing transmissions, running premium gas, custom tunes...

+1 for pedal commander. I got it for $270 shipped straight from their site, installed in 2-3 mins and the difference is night and day.

Nice math, reality is virtually no one on this forum gets 15MPG with all the mods and heavy wheels and tires. I myself only get about 13-14mpg, anf if you live in TX where you pay $2/gal. the savings dwindles even more. The reason to do these mods re for the cool factor, sound, and hell just because you want to.

The starting MPG isn't really important. A 3 MPG increase is the same amount of savings whether you went from 5 to 8 or 30 to 33. My point was just that people talk about any mod, or other truck for that matter, that gets a few MPG more like it's some massive change in cost.

Hehehe. I have that too. Sometimes when I press throttle at a green light the truck wants to launch like bat from hell. If this truck had wings...
