2016 platinum and want to replace my hood with the TRD pro hood with the extra scoop. Not just the scoop itself, but the whole hood as i dont wanna be drilling, painting, lining it up perfect, and mounting. Anyone just done a hood swap? And yes, Ive seen the Cool Springs parts thread.... Only the scoop itself is on there. The RKsport hood may be a fallback plan if this is too costly or time consuming. Thanks

I was fixing to say @Erichudgins is looking too. Good luck, I just bit the bullet and put the scoop on my existing hood.

@Omohundro ...after talking to Ronan I think I'm gonna have to do the same. I figured the TRD ones came as a one piece product, but they don't. You still have to buy the scoop and hood. Only difference is the holes are drilled in the TRD hoods already. How hard was the install?

Not hard, I made a simple template and drilled the holes. Then it’s easy bolt on process.

Yes, very. Can’t remember exactly what all the parts cost, but I’m thinking it was north of 600. Plus you will have to paint it.

Just purchased the hood and all the parts that go with it. Has anyone in the Nashville or surrounding areas had this hood installed at a body shop? I am looking for a very reputable cleaning company and someone who won’t screw it up trying to install it. Any info would be great! Thank you!
