are you asking about paint on the flares themselves coming off or paint coming off where the fender flares touch the body? had mine colormatched by a ghetto garage shop and they're holding. ceramicpro next week. i have not looked underneath and probably never will. ignorance is bliss. i live in mild weather so rust is not really an issue at all and if there's damage meh i don't want to know. i'm keeping the flares...

The outer-body fender flares that's over the top of each tires. There's a piece of rubber trim that separates the flares from the body. Its happening on a 4 of them. The front are the worse.

The paint is peeling off of the rubber seal? That's why the seals shouldn't be painted.

Its not the rubber that's peeling its the fender flares. Factory paint.

I had Bushwacker flares painted a few years back on a Dodge Ram... they never pealed for the ~3 years I had it. The fender flares were pretty rigid so no flex. I think I paid $350 6 or 7 years ago in SoCal.

Thanks for the info. I assume the reason for the problem is the material they are made of, the body paint is fine. Got to fond a good body shop.
    Thanks Again, Ray
