Hello. So I want to go with coilovers and I want 2.5-3" up front and I like my rake and want 2.5-3" in my rear. Most shock brands advertise 0-2" rear shocks. You think it is ok to push another inch up there?

Most adjustable coilovers are preset at 3....some end up being just a tad higher. As for the rear, most end up going with a 1 inch to level, or 1.75 with Coachbuilder shackles to have a slight rake. 2.5 to 3 in the rear is not common unless you are doing something like a 5 or 6 inch bracket lift, which is obviously more than 3 inches in the front. I would not stretch a shock that far either. I'm running a 3 inch coilover in the front and 2 inch in the rear and I am level.

    Unloaded I’d say I’m
At about 2.5-3” upfront and 2.5-3” in the rear

Icon stage 9. Icon rxt leaf pack and shocks that are made for the amount of lift that the springs give. I know there are shocks in rear for 2-3” that are more affordable.

There is no issue drooping the shock out more for ride height. Just less down travel at ride height.

What lift does your icon give in the front? It has to be more than 3 if you have 2.5 to 3 in the rear.

Why because of hot it looks in the photo? I’ll try to take a pic today when in level ground. That photo it a little up hill. I fed have at least 2” of rake. When unloaded.

Emailed Fox about the rear shock limits and this is the response. Specifically the 883-26-006 which has an advertised lift height of 1.5".

The 883-26-006 will be short and limit droop travel if you are replacing the rear springs on a 2007-current Tundra. If you are replacing the springs, check with the manufacturer you are working with to see if the have a recommended shock length to use.
