I have been getting the run around at pro comp and need some help. Recently, I rebuilt my whole front end of my tundra and ran into a problem. When I went to install my tie rods from Dave at coachbuilders I had a major toe problem. Dave informed me that I had a very early run of the pro comp lift kit, and that it would be a good idea to get the newer designed one. Since it has a better design angle. My kit was the Metal Mulisha edition 2010 ish, on a 2007 4x4. I have talked to Pro Comp and they told me they don't have any change out program or recall for it. But it was changed to a new model. Wondering if anyone has dealt with this issue. I had to put stock tie rods on for it to work since the others are just too short. If I remember right BDS had a similar issue also. For reference my part numbers are 90-4172 and 90-4171. Pro comp already told me these are discontinued.
I would prefer to upgrade on these since I just put ADS suspension on the truck and a new steering rack with poly on everything. Dave also told me he would work with me on changing the tie rods out for the longer ones, if I wanted to. I would like to have the correct parts. If you had this problem how did you get pro comp to change them? I do realize I may just have to buy them, but any help would be appreciated.

Got an update for anyone that runs into this problem. I ended up getting someone that had me email everything in, plus pictures. Took about 20 minutes, and got a response. Finally, got someone that knew what I was talking about. They said that these are very old, and one of the first kits that came out. For anyone that ever runs into this kind of problem pro comp will work with you. Email them instead of calling and getting the run around (info@procompusa.com). Include pictures, and the part numbers and make and model of your truck. Make sure the picture has the stock tie rod so they can see it's the wrong spindle.
