I just bought a used tundra and I have some suspension wear in the front tires so I need to redo the front suspension. I’m thinking about lifting it while I’m at it and don’t know exactly what I’m getting into. Right now I’m looking at Rough country struts with a 3.5” lift and a rear add a leaf for 2” of lift with new shocks. is that all I need? Will there be other parts I am going to have to buy or modify. I’ll link the parts I’m looking at. What are the pros and cons of this set up? Thanks for the help!

Me personally I think you would be alot happier with a Toytec setup. Their customer service is top notch and they are in the Toyota market. I would call @Toytec Lifts and ask for David or Hugo. You will need upper control arms as well for a good alignment. I believe that an add a left will make the rear end stiffer. I would recommend shackles and poly bushings. Here is mine. I went with the Toytec Aluma 2.5 coilovers, SPC uppers, Boss rear with resis, Toytec shackles set at 1.5, and 1/2 axle shims. Imran 285/70/18's on a 0 offset.
