I have a aftermarket unit installed on my truck from previous owner that i need help with. Its a directed 4x05 unit that uses a viper 7145v remote. i am guessing its a viper product because of the remote. I down loaded the pdf to change settings and finally got the horn to working when locking and unlocking. I have the factory keyless entry remote that works and beeps from the security buzzard. I am wondering if there is any way to wire the remote start to make the beep like the factory. The horn wire on the unit is BROWN (-) 200mA HORN OUTPUT. I have been locking all over the place for info to do this today, and found the factory security buzzer located under the front headlight. Any one got info on this?
