I have currently been rebuilding my front end of my tundra. I have a pro comp lift installed but the pro comp coils had started to leak so I decided to upgrade. I installed ADS coils all around, replaced all ball joints, upgraded to polys on the control arms, new steering rack with polys, new hubs, new power stop brakes and rotors, and new tie rod ends. The problem I have is I originally ordered moog tie rods, but the guys at ADS said to use the pro comp tie rods, so I ordered those. When I went to install the pro comp tie rods I noticed how short they are, and I only get about five or so turns with them, and the moog I get about 20 turns. The truck originally had the the moog tie rods and seemed fine. My question is, is this normal for the pro comp? Another thing is the moog seems to allow more travel than the pro comp. For comparison the moog tie rods are about 2 inchs longer than the pro comp.

I was thinking about that, I just don't know if my rims will clear. I thought you need 20 inch rims for them, and I only have 18s on my truck.

I will hit him up. If this does work this should really finish up the front end. The only reason I didn't go with the Coachbuilder is I thought they wouldn't fit. Thanks for the info. Next will be the custom rear leafs.

I have to do a custom setup because I did a 48 metal gas tank with full size spare on the tailgate and a roof top tent on my custom rack and I need to up the weight on the rear springs. Plus, fix the major lean I get when the tank is full. My current driver side leaf is flat, starting to go the other way. Once I finish up the front it goes in for the rear.

Just an update. I installed the pro comp tie rod ends to check fitment and the rim does not fit with them on. Now I know why the guy before me had the moog tie rods. I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and buy different rims and coachbuilder tie rods.

Sorry about the late delay, been busy. I got the front end all together and I had to put the moog tie rods on just to get it back on the road. I ordered tie rods from Dave. I just need to order wheels so I can run the new tie rods. Looking for 18's that will work, really don't want to go for 20's. I think a -24mm offset will clear the tie rods with 18's. Going to go to a local shop to check it out. The truck should be going in today or tomorrow for the new rear leafs to be built. I'll post a pic when I finally get this build all done. Also, my bed stiffeners came in, and they're at LINE-X right now getting coated.
