Ok, so when I first got my Tundra about a month ago, I had a Viper alarm installed. Ever since then, I lost my automatic headlight functionality. The installers checked all connections, and showed me where they never went near anything that would affect it. Has anyone had this issue? This is only with the auto headlights. If I turn the stalk and manually do it, everything works fine. It's a minor inconvenience, but I'd like it to work correctly. Also, before anyone says it, the installer is an hour and a half away, as I live out in the boonies. Wanting to see if this is something I could potentially troubleshoot and fix myself. This is on a 17 platinum. Thanks in advance.

    Function before sparkle.
It's possible the sensor was disconnected. Check the light sensor in the middle of the dash?

It's on the left-hand side of the dash, next to the steering wheel, not really under the dash. I'd say it's about halfway up the firewall. If you pop out the switch panel below the vent on that side you should be able to get to it. Go to the 3:55 mark and you'll see what I'm talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KL2pXH3IHtc

Thank you very much. I'll try that later tonight and update.

I should probably add that this is a shot in the dark - I have no idea how the Viper systems compare to 12volt.solutions version, which uses Fortin and I think Compustar maybe?

I have no clue. I'm completely illiterate when it comes to anything electrical, especially with vehicle wiring.
